National Day of Truth & Reconciliation

On this weekend of Truth and Reconciliation my heart, mind, and life, step into a space of love and acceptance. Asking God to heal and unite us all, bringing us together.

International Truth and Reconciliation Day is a time to reflect on the past and work towards a better future. Here are affirmations that can help us move forward in a positive and healing way:

I am committed to learning about my own biases and privileges. I believe in the power of restorative justice. I will listen to the stories of those who have been marginalized. I acknowledge the harm that has been done in the past. I am willing to take responsibility for my own actions. I am open to different perspectives and ideas. I will stand up against injustice and inequality. I will support the work of reconciliation. I believe in the importance of forgiveness. I will work to create a more inclusive society. I will educate myself on the history of oppression. I will recognize my own complicity in systemic oppression. I will work to dismantle systems of oppression. I will strive for equality and justice for all. I am committed to creating a safe and welcoming space for all. I will use my privilege to uplift marginalized voices. I will not be silent in the face of injustice. I will work towards healing and reconciliation. I will practice empathy and compassion. I will work towards creating a world free from violence and conflict. I believe in the power of community and connection. I will work towards building bridges between different groups. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I will challenge my own biases and assumptions. I will work towards creating a more equitable world. I will actively listen to the voices of those who have been silenced. I will work towards creating a more just and peaceful world. I believe in the power of storytelling to bring about change. I will work towards building a more compassionate society. I will work towards creating a world where everyone feels seen and heard. I believe that we can work towards a better future together.
